Amazing Stake Conference this weekend! There are so many things I could share with y'all that have inspired me. One of the biggest messages to me was this- Each life is precious and worth pleading for. There may be times in our lives when we are not Christlike in our thoughts about others. Sometimes we may critize and even judge someone who has wronged us. And the easy thing to do is turn your heart off to them. While it seems that this solves the problem, usually it just delays more problems. But if we truly take the Savior's example we must forgive the person and think of them as a child of God. Pray for them. Pray for yourself. And perhaps over time hearts may be softened and healed. Maybe peace between people may not come; but where there is love- There is the Savior.

**In commemoration of the 2009 Easter season, the Henderson Nevada Anthem Stake is sponsoring a two-hour musical production, "Savior of the World: His Birth and Resurrection" at the Henderson Pavilion (200 S Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson, Nevada) on April 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25th at 7:30pm. Auditions for the cast will be held on January 9, 2009 from 6-10pm and January 10, 2009 from 10am until 6pm at the Anthem Stake Center located at 2497 Cozy Hill in Henderson. Call backs will be held the following week. Additional music auditions will be held on January 23rd and 24th also at the Anthem Stake Center. Those wishing to participate and are strongly encouraged to register for an audition time on the website http://www.savioroftheworld.info/ after November 1, 2008. Rehearsals for the cast will generally be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting on February 3, 2009.
